Our Programs

A program for every age and every goal

From a first lesson in the shallow end to a national age-group campaign, Canyon View Water Polo Association, Inc. meets athletes where they are and helps them swim further than they imagined.

Youth Water Polo

Our youth track is the heart of Canyon View Water Polo Association, Inc. Swimmers aged ten to fourteen train twice a week in dedicated practice lanes, learning the eggbeater kick, the basic pass, and the mindset of a teammate. Weekend league games give young athletes a first taste of competition without the pressure of travel or tryouts. Every session is supervised, every drill has a purpose, and every player finishes the season a stronger swimmer and a more confident person.

Why Canyon View

More than a club. A water family.

Programs come and go, but the community at Canyon View Water Polo Association, Inc. stays in the water together for years. Trained Coaching

Every coach on our deck is certified, background checked, and trained in water polo-specific instruction before they run a single drill. Coaches at Canyon View Water Polo Association, Inc. plan each practice on paper, demonstrate each skill in the water, and rotate through every athlete so nobody is left watching from the wall. Our coach to athlete ratio stays small by design, which means corrections arrive in the moment and confidence grows every single session. We invest in our coaches with annual clinics, referee training, and continued education, because a great program is only as strong as the people teaching it.

Safe Sport Environment

Safety is not a rulebook we file away; it is the foundation of every decision we make. All staff complete Safe Sport training, all adults interacting with minors pass background screening, and all practices run under direct supervision with emergency action plans posted at every pool. Parents always know who is on deck and how to reach us. Our conduct expectations are clear, our reporting process is simple, and our commitment to every athlete is unconditional: the pool is a place where young people are protected, respected, and celebrated.

Team Culture

Winning matters, and so does the way we win. Team captains are trained as leaders, team dinners are part of the season calendar, and alumni return each summer to coach, referee, or simply cheer from the stands. Canyon View Water Polo Association, Inc. celebrates milestones beyond the scoreboard: first goals, improved swim times, new friendships, and the quiet growth that happens when a young athlete finally believes in themselves. That culture is why families stay, why players return, and why the stands are full on game day.
